Hurray for another Slam Dunk song cover! This is actually one of the most suggested songs by my Filipino listeners. Yes, just in case you didn’t know yet, Slam Dunk anime is quite popular in the Philippines, too! But to tell you the truth, I’m not really crazy about this song but I don’t hate it. I’m sorry if that might’ve disappointed you. 😞 But of course, like all of my other covers, I tried my best singing this.
While looking for some easy songs to sing (because my voice is still not 100% okay), I remembered that this song doesn’t have that many harmonies so I finally decided to sing it. And then when I was in the middle of learning it, I realized that this song is high. Haha! But it was too late to back down because one of my instrumentalists, Julio, already finished making it. And he really did a great job. Thank you so much, Julio! ✨
Also, another reason that I chose to sing this song this week because I remembered that today is first day of the movie, THE FIRST SLAM DUNK in Japan! I hope we’ll get to see it outside Japan as well. ✨
